the office building is a ghost town … most the researchers are on vacation or have left early … i have this incredible urge to take my rolley chair and race down the hallway … then leave weird post-its notes on everyone’s doors … then leave a trail of marshmallows for someone to follow … but … i think i’ll just leave early too … tee hee …
last night, i watched my friends make many many many jello shots in preparation for the new years celebration at their friends … i supervised … and taste tested … i hope all those people at the party appreciate the hard work and dedication i put into testing all that alcohol … the things i do for others …

me: i think i did something to piss them off and you're hated by association

i went to the station to buy a monster (now that’s a sentence i wanted to say when i was 5) … a guy walked up to the cooler at the same as me … we did the polite “no, you, no, you, no, go ahead, no really, you go” … then finally he smiles, grabs one, and hands it to me … he said “this one, right?” … i just nodded and walked away …

only a couple more days until this year ends … i wonder what the next two days will bring … this year sure flew by …

me: he said red meat, dark greens ... oysters have a lot of iron, don't they?

me: i ate a lot of chocolate. never ate any turkey tho

i spent the night at my friends’ house in hopes for an escape from stress and depression … and for a while i was happy … we ate dinner, watched star trek, laughed, and joked … but after everyone went to bed and my lil munster was curled up asleep beside me, i felt alone again … i couldn’t sleep … i stayed up most the night …
i guess i can’t...

enjoyed the long weekend …
spent time with family who lives in town and with family who flew in from Korea, it was truly heart-warming and healing …
spent time with friends who live in town and with friends who flew in from a different areas … they lifted my spirit and gave me positive vibes …
spent time with my kiddo … and learned that you’re never too old...
today is the last day of the work week … thursday and friday are paid holidays!!! … woohoo! … even though i still have to work my part-time job, this still means i can sleep in a bit … woohoo!!!
